Winemaker Notes

The base wine for this cuvée is aged four months in new demi-muid French oak barrels prior to bottling. Showing and impressive backbone of acidity, this wine is dense and powerful, yet harmonious overall. With a fine and creamy mousse, aromas of meyer lemon, pear, and honeysuckle lead to a rich palate of baked apple, toasted brioche, and almond biscotti. A lingering streak of minerality extends the already long finish.
